A Legacy of Love

The Story of Stella's Closet

Stella's Closet was born from Elizabeth's deep desire, its owner, to combine her passion for fashion with a divine and greater purpose. After much analysis and reflection, she decided to take a new step in the fashion world by opening her own boutique, knowing she needed a name that symbolized something important to her. Stella, her only daughter, is her motivation in life, and a Closet is the place where we keep valuable and necessary things. This is how Stella's Closet becomes a space where fashion and words of encouragement meet, both for those who shop online and for those who visit the physical store. It is a place where modern women can feel beautiful both inside and out, without losing their distinctive style and the courage to be authentic.

A Dream Made Reality

After two years of selling without any promotion, Elizabeth, along with her loyal companion and cousin, embarks on a new adventure: this online store. At Stella's Closet, you will find not only the perfect outfit for any occasion but also versatile and modern pieces that adapt to various uses. Her goal is for her clients to dare to explore new styles, always maintaining their essence.

Collaboration with a High Fashion Designer: Innovation and Style

A special friendship united Elizabeth with Fabiana Montán, a talented fashion designer. From the moment Elizabeth walked through the door of her shop, she knew that her creations would be part of her boutique. Together, they design exclusive pieces in lycra that are not only unique but also help to enhance the figure, reduce sizes, and add a magical touch to each garment. This collaboration has allowed Elizabeth to offer her clients garments that combine style, comfort, and exclusivity.

With faith in God, Elizabeth believes that every garment and every decision at Stella's Closet has been blessed and guided by His love.

About Elizabeth García Berríos

A Journey of Passion and Purpose

Elizabeth García Berríos, a woman, mother, wife, Christian, and Puerto Rican who has built her own path in the world of fashion, has taken her love for clothing far beyond fashion; it is a true passion. She loves the art of dressing appropriately for every occasion, without losing her femininity, personal style, and above all, the comfort of the clothes and of being herself. Her mission has always been to inspire other women, especially those close to her, to feel beautiful and to stand out when choosing their outfits.

It all started 15 years ago when Elizabeth attended a distributor show and, without experience, bought merchandise to start selling to her friends and acquaintances. Her good taste helped her select a beautiful variety of clothes which she sold out in just a few days. Over time, her clients grew, and her clothes reached customers all over the United States and, of course, throughout Puerto Rico. The word spread, and she had the opportunity to sell her merchandise in a beauty salon in Caguas, Puerto Rico, which she called Lemon Boutique. Later, she decided to open her own location, where she was for three years before closing. This period was a great learning experience, both as a businesswoman and an employee, especially while maintaining her managerial job in the private sector, where she has worked for the last 17 years.

Elizabeth continued with her job in the private sector, but the desire to undertake was still alive. That spark in her heart was the one God had lit, aligned with her ministry to reach women through her garments. How beautiful is our God, who even takes care of us in this!
